OBJETIVO
Following the success of the iconic Soul Street restaurant at Five Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, Visual Architects were commissioned to design the interior for the brand’s European expansion in Zürich, Switzerland.
—
The objective was to translate the original Soul Street concept, a fusion of global street food cultures, into a new location, while creating a distinctive atmosphere influenced by Latin American, European and Asian styles. The new interior needed to remain true to the brand’s identity while offering a fresh and immersive dining experience suited to its Swiss setting.

Our team delivered the complete interior design of the restaurant, developing the project from original concept through to full visualisation. Working closely with the Soul Street team, we introduced new creative ideas to enhance each area of the venue, producing highly detailed 3D renders that accurately visualised colour palettes, materials, lighting and spatial flow.
—
The interior was divided into themed zones inspired by Latin American, European, Oriental and Indian cultures, each defined through bespoke installations, materials, lighting schemes, signage and photo opportunities. This approach allowed each space to feel authentic while remaining cohesive within the overall design.
—
Hand-painted murals became a central feature throughout the restaurant, combining traditional art references with a contemporary urban edge through vibrant graffiti techniques. Classical European statues were reimagined with bold neon finishes in hot oranges, purples, yellows and blues, creating a striking contrast between heritage and modern street culture.
—
A life-size Volkswagen vehicle was refurbished and transformed into a standout photo opportunity within the Latin American zone, surrounded by colourful murals, street signage and wicker lighting installations. The outdoor area was designed to frame the dramatic Zürich landscape, offering guests a relaxed setting featuring signature elements such as train carriages, sculptural installations and branded signage.

LOS RESULTADOS
The completed restaurant delivered a multi-layered dining experience, allowing guests to choose between different cultural environments and street food styles. This variety encouraged repeat visits, with diners discovering new areas, atmospheres and cuisines each time.
—
The opening generated significant social media attention, as guests and influencers shared imagery across the restaurant’s numerous photo opportunities, positioning Soul Street Zürich as a destination venue and strengthening brand recognition across Europe.
