OBJETIVO
In collaboration with Alteza Records, Visual Architects was commissioned to design and deliver two bespoke immersive stage designs for flagship events in London and Los Angeles. The installations were created for Vini Vici, the world-renowned DJ duo, headlining at IllumiNaughty (London) and Dreamstate Festival (Los Angeles) as part of their international tour.

The objective was to develop a cohesive touring stage concept that could adapt to two distinct venues and audiences, while maintaining a strong, recognisable identity and delivering a unique, high-impact experience at each location.

Both stage designs transported audiences into a deep Amazonian jungle environment, combining architectural temple structures, mythical elements, and tribal symbolism to create an ethereal, immersive atmosphere. Towering warrior figureheads carved in faux-stone finishes formed the focal points of each stage, positioned beneath a dramatic canopy of hanging foliage and vines.

These sculptural elements were enhanced with fire effects and advanced 3D projection mapping, animating the structures with dynamic visuals that brought the environment to life. The integration of lighting, mapping, and scenic design created a powerful visual identity that evolved throughout each performance.

To further enrich the experience, the stage designs were paired with Amazonian-themed performers, who embodied a tribal narrative through live performance. The performers told the story of the four elements, Fire, Earth, Air, and Water, using specialised disciplines including fire performance, aerial displays, capoeira, and contortion, adding movement, storytelling, and spectacle to the immersive setting.

While united by a single creative vision, each installation was bespoke to its location. The London design placed greater emphasis on live performance and intimate audience engagement, while the Los Angeles Dreamstate Festival stage, built at a much larger scale, focused heavily on dramatic visuals and extended 3D mapping, with newly created tribal sculptures developed specifically for the US event.
EL RESULTADO
The Amazonian stage concept became a touring, narrative-led showcase, delivering a visually striking and immersive identity for the Alteza Records × Vini Vici performances. Successfully transforming both Troxy in London and a large-scale festival arena at Dreamstate in Los Angeles, the design reinforced the tour’s global presence and established the stage environment as a defining feature of the live experience.
