Objective
Visual Architects was commissioned to deliver a bespoke immersive interior theme for Pyramid, the iconic weekly summer residency at Amnesia Ibiza, one of the world’s most renowned superclubs, with over 40 years of history in global nightlife culture. Sponsored by Size?Sessions and Adidas, the Pyramid season required a complete transformation of the venue’s main room, creating an environment that allowed audiences to fully connect with the identity of the night.
Inspired by Pyramid’s brand ethos, “Appreciate the past, live the present, and dance into the future”, the objective was to fuse distinct historical eras into a single, cohesive, high-impact clubbing experience.

Our team developed an immersive concept that blended ancient Egyptian symbolism with futuristic technology, creating a visually striking environment that felt both timeless and otherworldly. All installations were designed and fabricated in-house at our UK headquarters, before being transported and installed at the Amnesia Ibiza venue.

The centrepiece of the design featured cryptic floating pyramid installations, suspended across the ceiling in dynamic formations. These bespoke structures were engineered with concealed mechanisms to appear as if powered by an unknown energy source. Each pyramid was internally illuminated, with alternating colour sequences and pre-programmed animations delivered via holographic fan technology across their external surfaces.

Surrounding the pyramids, a layered canopy of abstract, futuristic forms and sculptural relics carved with mysterious inscriptions created the impression of an alien landscape or ancient civilisation rediscovered through advanced technology. Draped vines and organic foliage were woven throughout the space, immersing attendees in a dense, overgrown environment where jungle textures collided with advanced light and motion systems.

The result was a fully immersive club interior that encouraged exploration, heightened sensory engagement, and reinforced Pyramid’s narrative across the entire summer season.

The Results
The transformation delivered an entirely new visual identity for Pyramid at Amnesia Ibiza, creating a powerful, memorable experience that became a defining feature of the season. By combining ancient architectural motifs with futuristic visual effects, the design embodied Pyramid’s core message and positioned the event as a standout icon within Ibiza’s nightlife landscape. The immersive environment elevated audience engagement, strengthened brand recognition, and reinforced Amnesia’s reputation for cutting-edge club experiences.
