OBJECTIVE
For East Allenheads Estate, we transformed an interior space into a vibrant, contemporary social hub that blends playful nostalgia with refined design. The installation was conceived as a permanent feature, designed to energize the estate’s entertainment offering while maintaining a polished, modern aesthetic.
THE PROJECT
Guests are welcomed by stylishly illuminated neon lighting, running across the walls in curated graphic forms that set the tone for the space, bold, atmospheric, and unmistakably unique. These lighting elements create a rhythmic flow from entrance to dancefloor, sculpting the room with colour and movement.
At the heart of the design sits a disco-inspired dancefloor, complete with a bespoke DJ booth crafted to serve as both a functional performance space and a visual centrepiece. The design merges retro sensibilities with contemporary detailing, resulting in a focal point that encourages connection and immersive entertainment.
To complement the playful energy of the room, the walls feature retro gaming iconography, subtly integrated into the scheme to evoke nostalgia without overwhelming the interior. These graphic elements add character, charm, and a sense of fun, creating a space that feels both familiar and fresh.
THE RESULTS
The final result is a distinctive, immersive interior that invites guests to relax, interact, and enjoy a dynamic blend of light, music, and design, a memorable addition to East Allenheads Estate’s cultural and social landscape.
