Overview 

An account manager at Visual Architects oversees the client relationship, determining clients’ needs and developing a brief—understanding what Decor and theme they’re looking for one-off events, seasonal themes and long-term installations and ensuring that we deliver their vision

You will be working as part of a team in a well-established prop-making studio, a  modern stylish environment, working alongside our enthusiastic group of  in-house creatives  and marketing team to prepare presentations and campaigns; deliver marketing strategies and handle client communications and handle clients budgets. 

We are looking for positive, dedicated and motivated people with very good organisational skills to join our team, overseeing client projects, building long-lasting relationships and developing new revenue streams and customers using integrated CRM platforms. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing & building meaningful lasting relationships with clients
  • Actively seek new business and new opportunities for the company
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering and surpassing set revenue targets
  • Experience in developing sales processes in a B2B environment
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship development skills
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals

Skills and experience

  • Desired 2 years+ experience in the event or hospitality industry

  • Essential Experience in the use of all MS office word

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, curate, and manage all published content utilising existing content  video, photography and creating  basic graphic design.
  • Develop a marketing campaign to increase Visual Architects and sister organisations brand awareness, customer database and increase inbound leads to support sales 
  • Oversee design  create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns. (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog).
  • Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies, and our social media presence.
  • Develop and expand community, influencers and blogger outreach efforts.
  • Compile report for management showing results (ROI). including internal Hubspot monthly reports and external reports such Facebook ads , youtube and google advertising .
  • • Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Develop engaging online content including clickbait, forums, videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyse content success.
  • Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.
  • Creating blogs, newsletters, website content and press releases for our events.
  • Making sure the Website and all platforms are up to date day-to-day Website Management.
  • Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
  • To assist the Managing Director with the planning and implementation of a Marketing Strategy
  • Liaise with the sales team to develop marketing plans
  • Creating copy – newsletters, posts, blogs for both companies.

Skills & Experience

  • WordPress CMS preferable
  • Knowledge of Google advertising, facebook ads, Linkedin, twitter and youtube.
  • Basic videography graphics and photography
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premier Pro, InDesign) desirable 
  • 2 Years + In social media content development
  • Degree in Marketing, Media or relevant field is an Advantage

Overview

We have an open position for a Designer at Visual Architects, to join this studio and to quickly become a key part of the Design team, you will be responsible for creating different designs depending on brief including visualising decor indoor and outdoor events and interior design projects, 3D modelling/animation, motion, graphic design and video editing.

You will be bringing to life the clients ideas, rendering and presenting products and ideas. Searching and  sourcing products and technology for current and future projects.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Minimum 2 years practical experience required. (will consider professional graduates) 
  • Proven experience preparing specification and detailed drawings clients 
  • Creating design work, including concept drawings (from client or account manager supplied information) 
  • Discussing design changes and modifications with clients and account managers, both via telephone and email.
  • Interpreting concept art and sketches to create characters, environments, and props.

Overview 

We are looking for a Prop Dresser & Installer to be responsible for the laying out, priming, painting, texturing, sculpting, detailing, etc. of all hard scenic items and backdrops. As a prop maker you will work with a range of different materials including metal, latex, fibreglass, wood and textiles.

You will be working as part of a team in a well-established prop-making studio, a  modern stylish environment, working alongside our enthusiastic group of  in-house creatives —Creating decor and themes for clients for one-off events, seasonal themes and long-term installations and ensuring that we deliver their vision. 

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create a diverse array of high-quality props with and without concept 
  • Push the quality of artwork both visually and technically 
  • Collaborate with other departments to produce assets -Interpreting design renderings with specific design and technical requirements 
  • Create colour paint mixes based on designer renderings and colour-matching based on existing pieces- -Base, primary, and finish painting of all hard pieces of scenery.
  • Working from designs sculpt  and carve  organic foam shapes.
  • Laying out and painting backdrops either upright on a paint frame or painted flat on a stage.
  • Discuss what props are required with Production Staff
  • Assist the props or crafts department on specialty paint projects as requested.
  • -Experiment with different tools, methods and materials to create great effects
  • Touch-up, repair and maintain  all completed decor projects.

To support the workload of our design and construction teams and work on delivering the best ways of producing décor from initial concept through to astonishing experience.for our clients. 

Duties &  Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with senior management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
  • Developing a detailed project plan for each project stage – to guide clients, staff members and project teams and reviewing based on changing requirements 
  • Co-ordinating project staff – Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths 
  • Budgets – Developing cost estimation and budget development liaising with Operations regarding cost reports and negotiating with contractors and suppliers.
  • Carrying out risk assessments and managing and mitigating risk

We are looking for an exceptionally talented seamstress and costume maker with a great eye for fashion and festival club design.  This job typically involves altering, mending, modifying, and even constructing garments from scratch according to the needs of our clients and can involve working with a range of different fabrics. We would like a designer who can accurately estimate the cost of constructing garments and the time involved. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Fit Repair and Alter Decor Clothing 
  • Read, interpet and adapt from existing designs.
  • Completing alterations to garments using a thread or sewing machine.
  • Drawing patterns or altering existing patterns.

Overview 

We are looking for positive, fit and enthusiastic individuals to be part of a small crew to prep equipment and install/derig decor installations, capable of helping us deliver outstanding experiences and customer service on a weekly basis. With a wide range of products and services made and hired out from our headquarters in Stockport, you will experience the fast pace and exciting nature of events production.

This opportunity will require the candidate to demonstrate a high level of hands-on competency, the ability to work at height. Ideally candidates will have a knowledge and understanding of event production but on the job training will be given and we are happy to invest in the right candidate.

All successful candidates will have a 1 day induction in health and safety and rigging at height at our warehouse in Hyde before going out on site. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Rigging decor, props and installations in both venues and open air festivals 
  •  working at height with ladders to rig (what can sometimes be heavy and obscure items)
  • Following clear, predetermined set up instructions as part of a team to bring to life a clients vision.
  • Follow up all management and tasks allocated to you.
  • Follow and keep to time schedules set by manager 
  • Use power tools and other tools in order to complete tasks
  • Work in a safe, efficient and organized manner
  • Manage load ins and load outs from multiple sites.
  • Drive to sites across the country as required
  • Maintain a clean working environment on a daily basis
  • Take part and attend in all necessary meetings with a productive and positive input
  • Act as a good ambassador for Visual Architects both on and off duty

  • 2 year + event industry rigging or crew work are desirable 
  • Holder of a driving license are desirable

  • Have experience in manual handling duties, including heavy lifting, carrying and moving all types of equipment safely…

Overview

Your role within the company will be to work with building materials (most often wood) mainly within the workshop but sometimes on site. You will plan and execute the construction of large props items as assigned by the construction manager. You will be asked to work with and should be familiar with a variety of materials and techniques including, but not limited to, wood, alu-bond, acrylic, foam ex, metal work and structural design

We will ask you to come in for a 1 day work trial including a woodwork competency -to build a box to show an understanding of cutting sheet materials, measuring accurately, fixing and finishing. .

  • Work alongside designers in order to understand projects and products.
  • Read, interpet and build from designers’ drawings.

We have an open position for a creative, well organised professional graphic designer  and, to join this studio and to quickly become a key part of the media team. This is a varied role that will including 

 creating everything from posters to logos print and marketing materials..In addition to graphics the role may also involve updating website content, general in-house design, and photography 

You will be bringing to life clients ideas visualising and sketching design plans and sourcing products and materials, determining costs and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications are met.

You will be working alongside other talented designers, sales and construction staff to ensure projects run smoothly from initial design to completion.

 

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • liaising with clients to determine their requirements and budget
  • managing  proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production
  • working with design team briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
  • developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
  • determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
  • preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
  • reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
  • liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager (CM), or Site Manager to manage the execution of a range of construction and installation projects. Their duties include adhering to the project’s schedule, making sure it’s completed safely, on time and within budget. as the construction  site manager, no two days will ever be the same. You’ll liaise with design architects, project managers and builders to ensure a project is on track and there are enough staff, machinery and materials to get the job done. supervising project builds to meet management’s strategic objectives and supervise  the workload of our construction team.

 

Duties &  Responsibilities:

 

The job role of a construction site manager involves the following duties:

    • Preparing and negotiating timetables, cost estimates, budgets and contracts
    • Monitoring the construction process, inc build costs and project progress
    • Collaborating with specialists  such as architects, engineers and designers,  contractors and clients
    • Supervising construction workers and hiring subcontractors
    • Maintaining quality control checks and conducting safety inspections
    • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings for management 
    • Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
    • Complying with legal requirements, safety and building codes and keeping daily logs and diaries
    • Ordering equipment and materials, for each phase of the project
    • Enforcing safety procedures, minimising risk, ensuring the use of protective clothing, hard-hat, harnesses and other safety equipment
  • Carrying out risk assessments and managing and mitigating risk
  • Completing quality assurance checks for new installations

 

  • Working effectively with relevant departments design/construction/sales   for efficient project implementation

Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics Administrator to join our Projects and logistics team at Visual Architects an established and growing creative company on a permanent basis.

Working as a key part of the administration  team, the successful candidate will ensure all on-site installations are facilitated to set timescales and all travel, job specs  and payments are processed. 

Duties will include:

  • Organise and oversee all crew rigging travel, job specs between  sites 
  • Producing and updating all required documentation to support installations 
  • Track and purchase equipment in line with project requirements 
  • Handling customer and internal enquiries
  • Understanding and maintaining records in line with industry regulations and guidance
  • General administration duties as required

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working in a similar role within a warehouse environment – experience within Manufacturing/FMCG is desirable but not essential
  • Have excellent communication skills, be confident liaising with stakeholders across all levels and have the ability to build rapport with customers easily
  • Be proficient working with all MS Office packages (in particular Excel) – a working knowledge of an ERP system is also desirable
  • Be organised, self-motivated and a natural problem solver!
