Visual Architects was commissioned to design and deliver a permanent interior fit-out for Soul Street, a destination restaurant within Dubai’s luxury Five Jumeirah Village Hotel. The brief was to create an immersive dining experience inspired by five global street food cultures, and needed to be visually iconic, culturally authentic and positioned as one of Dubai’s premier hospitality destinations.
Our team developed a multi-zone interior concept that took guests on a journey through South American, European, East Asian, Indian and Middle Eastern street cultures. Combining bespoke fabrication, hand-painted murals, custom installations and authentic materials, we created immersive environments rich in colours, textures, and visual storytelling.
Soul Street quickly established itself as one of Dubai’s most distinctive dining destinations, earning recognition as one of the city’s most Instagrammable venues and being named among the 20 most beautiful restaurants in Dubai. The venue received widespread coverage across travel and hospitality publications, becoming a popular destination for food lovers, live entertainment and major events.
