Visual Architects was commissioned to design and fabricate a collection of bespoke experiential features for the P. Louise Trafford Centre flagship, transforming the retail space into an immersive destination. From the iconic heart entrance archway and oversized crown to custom seating and giant beauty-inspired props, every element was designed to celebrate the brand’s playful identity while creating memorable moments that encourage exploration, interaction and social sharing.
P. Louise wanted its Trafford Centre flagship to be far more than a retail store, it needed to become an experience. The objective was to create a vibrant, immersive environment that reflected the brand’s bold personality while encouraging visitors to explore, engage and share their experience. Our brief focused on delivering a series of large-scale scenic features that would transform the customer journey, create instantly recognisable landmarks and establish the flagship as a destination within one of the UK’s busiest shopping centres.
Working closely with the P. Louise team, we designed and fabricated a series of bespoke architectural and experiential installations that brought the concept to life. A custom heart-shaped entrance archway created an unforgettable gateway into the store, complete with a bespoke brick-effect finish that added depth, texture and character while complementing the wider creative vision. Together, these interactive features encouraged visitors to stop, explore, capture content and immerse themselves within the world of P. Louise.
The completed installations successfully blurred the line between retail, entertainment and immersive brand experience. Every bespoke feature worked together to create a visually striking environment that invited customers to spend longer in-store while generating highly shareable moments across social media. The result is a flagship destination that perfectly embodies the P. Louise brand while demonstrating how experiential design and bespoke fabrication can transform retail into an unforgettable customer experience.
