OBJETIVO
Visual Architects were appointed to design, manage and deliver an unforgettable Bar Mitzvah celebration for 13 year old Gabriel at London’s iconic Roundhouse. The brief: create a high-impact, immersive experience bursting with energy, colour and movement. We transformed the venue with a show-stopping stage, canopy and signature photo opportunity area.

Our team transformed the Roundhouse into an immersive, festival-inspired world – full of energy from the moment guests entered the venue. Every detail, from the stage to vibrant ceiling and interactive dessert zone was created to captivate guests and celebrate the moment.
The stage featured our 6 metre high Elysian Cove figure installation as a centrepiece, with the appearance of weathered stone illuminated by vivid and multicoloured neon lights. The cracked facade blended with the surrounding tropical greenery and palm leaves, to give the impression that guests had entered a lost world with ancient structures.
The ceiling was re-imagined with a geometric stretch lycra canopy that cast vibrant neon shades across the canopy, reflecting the concept of the stage. The ceiling area was given dimension and character with hot air balloons which appeared to float within the venue.
An interactive ‘dessert zone’ let guests capture their favourite moments with iconic photos by a flower power archway, melting ice cream, a dessert truck and giant candy.

Guests entered a stunning environment of tropical vibes and ancient storytelling, given a light-hearted ambience with fun photo opportunities. This spectacular setting was perfect for a bar mitzvah that was to be remembered, for its unique presence and creative spirit.
