OBJETIVO
Fujifilm commissioned Visual Architects to design and deliver an immersive Santa’s Grotto experience that blended traditional Christmas storytelling with a timeless, high-quality aesthetic. The objective was to create a walk-through festive environment featuring Santa’s house, a toy workshop, and Santa’s sleigh, designed to delight visitors of all ages while providing engaging photo opportunities and brand-aligned experiences.

Our team developed and installed a series of interconnected themed zones, each representing a distinct chapter of the Santa’s Grotto journey while flowing seamlessly into one cohesive experience. Following detailed site visits and creative discussions, we produced a fully bespoke temporary interior design, incorporating interactive elements, atmospheric lighting, and spatial storytelling.

Once the final concept was approved, custom fittings, scenic structures, and decorative elements were fabricated at our UK production facilities. These were combined with classic festive details to create a range of immersive environments, from a cosy North Pole cabin interior to a snow-covered winter forest.

The installation featured evergreen trees, faux winter foliage, Santa’s sleigh, reindeer, a faux stone fireplace, toys, giant nutcracker soldiers, wrapped presents, and colourful post boxes, transforming the venue into a complete escape into the magic of the season. Every element was designed to encourage exploration, interaction, and memorable photography.

The finished Santa’s Grotto delivered a warm, immersive, and family-friendly seasonal experience, attracting visitors and creating lasting festive memories. The installation successfully combined storytelling, craftsmanship, and interactivity, to create a truly immersive winter experience for all guests.
