OBJETIVO
Creamfields Festival, one of the world’s leading electronic music festivals, commissioned Visual Architects to design and deliver a fully immersive arena environment that would reflect the festival’s forward-thinking, cutting-edge identity. The objective was to create a cohesive, visually striking festival experience, bringing together iconic installations within a unified theme that would elevate the atmosphere and deepen audience engagement.

The arena was designed to visualise the energetic yet harmonious nature of the music, fusing themes which inspire a serene and otherworldly atmosphere; dreamscape, elysian cove, solace and northern lights. Iconic and tall structures of peaceful figures were installed on stage and around the arena, with a finish of faux natural stone as if present in nature.

A canopy of geometric lycra was printed with ‘northern lights’ to bring the theme together and create an ethereal space over the dancefloor. Attendees were invited into the arena through faux stone archways and through fields of monoliths illuminated from within mysterious carvings.

The completed arena delivered a distinctive, future-focused festival environment that became a defining feature of the Creamfields experience. The cohesive design, large-scale installations, and immersive lighting transformed the space into a memorable destination, reinforcing Creamfields’ reputation for world-class production and innovation.
