The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Newly Qualified Architect (Part 3) to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who has successfully completed their Part 3 qualification and is ready to take on significant responsibilities in a fast-paced, creative environment.
As a Newly Qualified Architect, you will work on a variety of projects, from conceptual design through to on-site completion. You will be instrumental in the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions, ensuring all designs are compliant with regulations and meet our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Contribute to all stages of the design process, from initial concepts and feasibility studies to detailed design and technical drawings.
- Project Management: Assist in managing projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, and other consultants to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
- Technical Compliance: Prepare and submit planning applications and building regulations drawings, ensuring all work adheres to relevant legislation and standards.
- Site Supervision: Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality, addressing any on-site issues that may arise.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior architects, designers, and other team members to create innovative and functional designs.
- Documentation: Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications using CAD software.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Must hold a UK architectural qualification (Part 1, 2, and 3).
- Registration: Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
- Experience: Previous experience in an architectural practice is essential, ideally with a portfolio showcasing a range of project types.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Bricscad). Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) is also required.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods.
