We Design Events
With the current Covid-19 pandemic, we understand the severe impact upon events companies worldwide. At Visual Architects HQ we have been working and developing future proof designs to enable the events industry to bounce back in a safe and sustainable manner in the midst of this crisis.
Never before has it been so crucial to adhere to such regulated guidelines when organising an event, yet this is also a unique opportunity to offer more stylistic and exclusive experiences to your guests in a time when everyone is extremely eager to enjoy collective entertainment while also feeling safe and secure. And being able to do so in the current climate, by adding an immersive atmosphere that provides a more unique and exciting experience, almost guarantees a wide social media reach as attendees share your event online.
With this in mind, we have devised a range of bespoke socially distanced events which our design and construction teams are able to tailor to the specific requirements of your event or venue, from concept to installation.
The following is a snapshot of some of the projects we’ve been working on during this term:
Our new social pods are designed to sit 6 people, in line with government guidance on small gatherings. The octagonal designs sit neatly next to one another and can be fitted out and styled to fit with your brand and theme. Installed with rooftop solar panels, these can provide mobile phone charging points and heat lamps for outdoor use all year round.
The pods can be open fronted or with added door and windows to enclose the space. Our bespoke neon signs can add a touch of fun or can incorporate your brand. Foliage walls and neon lighting are a huge trend at present and bring in that Instagrammable element.
We can utilize any of our themes – for example, our Steampunk or Circus themes – to turn your sit-down event into a unique experience that assimilates all of the elements of a standard show along with an immersive atmosphere in order to keep the entertainment level high for your guests.
We are also able to incorporate a number of our popular themes, such as the Wild West and a Winter Wonderland, into your drive-in events – including cinemas, DJ shows and stage performances – while adding that essential immersive atmosphere.
As an example of this, we recently developed an immersive Halloween experience for the extremely popular ScareCity in Manchester. For this we designed, built and installed a number of bespoke elements around the drive-in cinema, including a three-metre high, ten-metre long ‘Tunnel of Doom’ for cars to drive through; this contained two distinct themes within – the Crypt and the Slaughterhouse – as well as floor sensors that triggered flashing lightning.
This type of event is also perfect for incorporating live performers, which adds an extra immersive element to the proceedings. Performers can deliver an interactive element from a safe distance, which can bring the attendee into the experience and provide additional photo opportunities
